There is a slight lag in gameplay, probably due to the speed of emulation or the difficulty with increasing speed without changing frame rate and other complications. The graphics are better than the GameCube version and other handheld versions. The port of Resident Evil 4 to the PSP is quite good. The porting was not an easy task because of issues with the hardware limitations of the original consoles and several design decisions made by Capcom.
